The Opportunity
Reporting to the Diagnostic Imaging Clinical Manager, the Operations Manager interfaces effectively with administrative and technical staff and is responsible for overall coordination of Diagnostic Imaging daily operations ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service that is accessible and is based upon the best available evidence for practice standards. The Operations Manager works collaboratively with the Clinical Manager and Administrative Lead to deliver a seamless service.
Hours of Work
Monday-Friday, varies based on operational hours
Your Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a health related or relevant field required.
- Graduate of a recognized school of imaging technology required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience as a Technologist, required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role required.
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP).
- Previous experience with diagnostic imaging information systems including but not limited to PACS, HIS and RIS required.
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated decision making skills.
- Demonstrated utilization of sound problem-solving skills and ability to make independent operational decisions.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to implement change.
- Experience with project management in an interdisciplinary team an asset.
- Demonstrated effective utilization of material resources.
- Team building and work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Competencies in other languages an asset.
