As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at IWK Health Centre, you will:

Perform high-quality ultrasound studies for pediatric, obstetrical, and gynecological patients, as well as interventional procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist.
Provide diagnostic-quality images using accepted protocols to support accurate and timely radiological reporting.
Process and archive images to ensure they are part of the patient’s medical record.
Maintain accurate patient files in the Radiology Information System (RIS) in adherence to standard operating procedures.
Participate in the training and mentorship of other Sonographers, students, and residents as required.
Demonstrate professionalism and a team-oriented attitude in all aspects of the role.
Exhibit punctuality, manage workload effectively, and maintain high performance standards.
Deliver excellent patient care with empathy, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
